Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Would you like to become a Certified Nursing Assistant? This State-approved 180-hour course consists of classroom time, lab practice and clinical work. Time is spent on the aspects of caring for patients and residents, diseases and disease processes, and anatomy and physiology. Clinical hours allow the student to practice what was learned in the classroom with actual hands-on experience. Classes are held three nights per week from 3 to 6 p.mm for 12 weeks. The Certified Nursing Assistant State Competency Test is administered upon completion of the course. To register for this class, download the application from bath.maineadulted.org and return it to the adult education office, or call 443-8255 to have an application mailed.
