FREE Introduction to Reiki
with Mary Maverick
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy. It is a gentle method of hands-on healing that taps into the energy referred to as ki in Japan, chi in China, and prana in India. The practice of Reiki is based on the teachings of Mikao Usui, who practiced and taught healing techniques in early 20th-century Japan. Reiki is a technique that addresses both chronic and acute conditions, gently and powerfully promoting balance among all the body’s systems and the regenerative processes of body and mind. Treatment may be given by either touching or with hands held a few inches away from the body. In this workshop you will have a chance to ask your questions and sample Reiki energy for yourself.

Make Your Own Hypertufa Plant Container
with Beth Hawkes
Hyper---what? Hypertufa is a method of mixing ingredients to create a beautiful planter that looks like stone, but weighs less, and can take on virtually whatever shape you like. The finished product can eventually take on a beautiful patina of mosses and lichens. Beth Hawkes, professional gardener/greenhouse operator, will walk you through the process as you create your own hypertufa plant container. You will leave with the knowledge and skills to reproduce other containers as your needs arise. During the first class, you will create your planter from the mixture and a mold, learning all the tips and tricks Beth has learned over the years; your unique creation will cure and the second week, you will return to finish it by filling it with beautiful succulents. You may bring your own 12-inch or less diameter plastic bowl or other vessel to use as a mold, or you can use one that Beth will supply. Beth will supply all other materials including molding mixture, soil and succulents. A materials fee of $25 is included in the cost of the course. Register early; this class will fill fast!

What is the value of this spoon bending class? If, with very little training, you can easily bend a spoon that you could not easily bend before (if at all), then you can begin to see how powerful you actually are! Learn to access the subtle energy field that surrounds us all. The metal softening mechanisms you will learn in this class are actually quantum mechanics techniques you can transfer to enhance your daily life. This is the same energy field ancient and new age healers are accessing to perform healings and miracles. You will learn and practice several different techniques that will not only allow you to bend spoons, but allow you to experience inducing other changes in material reality. Learn how healers have been able to mend broken bones instantaneously and see how it might be possible for you to perform miracles in your own life. There is a $10 materials fee payable to the instructor at the start of class. No discounts.
