You will leave feeling the effects of a great training session with a skilled instructor.

Drums Alive: Cardio Drumming - Session II

Must bring own 65cm exercise ball to each class. Ball rental is $18 to be paid to instructor at first class. Feel and experience the pulsating rhythms, dynamic movements and powerful percussions of this new and unique high-energy workout. Power Beats combines movement with the power of drumming. It’s a program for everyone! It’s a workout for the entire body as well as a powerful tool for stress reduction and mental balance. In just a few hours you’ll learn enough about playing the guitar to give you years of musical enjoyment and you won’t have to take private lessons! This crash course teaches some basic chords and will get you playing along with your favorite songs right away. Topics include: how chords work in a song, how to form the three main types of chords, how to tune your guitar, basic strumming patterns, how to buy a good guitar & things to avoid and how to play along with simple tunes. Bring your acoustic guitar to class.

In just a few hours, you can learn enough secrets of the trade to give you years of musical enjoyment. How do we do it? While regular piano teachers teach note reading, piano professionals use chords. And to learn all the chords you’ll need to play any song in one session. Any song. Any style. Any key. If you can find middle C and know the meaning of Every Good Boy Does Fine, you already know enough to enroll in this workshop.

SASSY HIP HOP with Liza! - Session II

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States. Our instructor Liza May, has been teaching Hip Hop for over 8 years, and now incorporates jazz, modern and contemporary into her sassy, empowering style. Liza’s professional training includes, but is not limited to: -Broadway Theater and Dance workshop in New Mexico, Broadway Dance Center in New York, Choreographer & Co-Artistic Director for Gemini Dance Company and Choreographer & Principal Dancer Resurgence Dance Company Maine.

Stability Ball - Session II

A strong body starts at the core. You’ve heard about it and seen it now try it! This innovative workout uses a stability ball to help you burn calories, strengthen your core muscles, improve your balance and tone your entire body. Class focuses on proper technique, all you need is a stability ball. Make sure you use the proper size ball for your height.: 4’8”-5’3” use 55 centimeters, 5’4”-6’ use 65 centimeters, over 6’ use 75 centimeters. Bring an inflated ball to class.
